With more days than a classic west-coast voyage, this route creates room for the north coast, Hinlopen Strait and Spitsbergen's quieter eastern side whenever the season's ice pattern opens a safe passage.
A circumnavigation is an expedition intention, not a promise. The captain may reverse, shorten or reshape the circuit when pack ice, wind or swell closes a section of the planned route.

Day 1
Depart Longyearbyen
Board the ship, meet the team and sail west from Isfjorden after the mandatory expedition briefings.
Days 2–4
North-west Spitsbergen
Explore glacier bays, historic sites and possible walrus resting areas through flexible landings and Zodiac cruises.
Days 5–7
Northern Ice and Hinlopen Strait
Follow the safest available water around northern Spitsbergen and enter Hinlopen Strait if the sea-ice pattern permits.
Days 8–10
Eastern and Southern Fjords
Continue through austere polar-desert scenery before turning west among the more sheltered fjords of southern Spitsbergen.
Days 11–12
Return to Longyearbyen
Complete the circuit if conditions have allowed, then disembark in Longyearbyen according to the confirmed sailing schedule.
